Parker Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2018: Review

Parker Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

This is the new release cabernet under Parker Estate’s second tier Terra Rossa classification, reserved for fruit grown in its estate vineyards at the southern end of Coonawarra.

It’s a rich, concentrated, full-bodied cabernet, with assertive tannins that guarantee time in the cellar will be rewarded.

But in saying that, it is already drinking wonderfully right now. Surprisingly so, in fact, for a cabernet brandishing such power.

Intense, but not overbearing, it is black fruit driven, with layers of Christmas spices and appealing leathery, savoury notes.

A comforting and satisfying winter red that will only improve with time. At this price, buy half a dozen to enjoy at your leisure over the next decade.

RRP: $34
ABV: 14.5%
