Bentspoke Descent 22 Imperial Stout arrives

Bentspoke Descent 22

The eight edition of Bentspoke’s annual birthday beer, Descent Imperial Stout, has arrived.

This year’s vintage is ten per cent ABV, with six months’ ageing in foeder barrels seasoning the roasty malt-driven beer with vanilla, oak and wild yeast characters.

A portion of aged beer from the previous vintage has been blended in for additional complexity.

“It’s amazing to think that it’s already been 8 years since we opened the doors in Braddon,” Bentspoke co-founder Richard Watkins said.

“We’re just so excited that our doors are still open and welcoming everyone who enjoys drinking bent beers”.

Descent 22 Imperial Stout will be available on tap at the Bentspoke brewpub, with packaged format available from Bentspoke’s online shop and in selected east coast bottleshops.
