Chur Brewing returns to Australian market

Chur Brewing, the recent GABS Hottest 100 Kiwi Beers winning brewery with a cult following, is thrilled to announce its official relaunch into the Australian market.

Chur, known as Behemoth Brewing in New Zealand, has partnered exclusively with Kaddy, utilising Australia’s leading wholesale beverage marketplace to drive sales and facilitated by the national end-to-end fulfilment coverage of Kaddy Fulfilment.

‘Kaddy makes it super easy to order, which will help us to get into more venues fast’

‘Plus, with warehouses and freight solutions around Australia, it will make it easy for us to grow our footprint’ said Andrew Childs, Founder & co-CEO of Chur Brewing.

Initially, Chur Brewing will be available exclusively in Victoria, but the company plans to expand quickly. ‘We have received numerous requests from other states to bring our beers there, and we are working hard to make it happen,’ added Childs.

Chur, under the Behemoth label, was famously awarded the crown prize of New Zealand’s most popular beer just a few weeks ago, taking out the GABS Hottest 100 Kiwi Beers with their Behemoth Brain Smiles Pale Ale.

Locally, the Chur Brewing lineup available through Kaddy will include a range of well-loved special brews, including the Double Lid Ripper Double Hazy IPA & the Pickle Nick Pickle Sour Ale, with a deep lineup of more Chur products to follow throughout 2023.

‘We plan to have our core range in Australia in the second half of the year’, said Childs.

‘For now, we’re just focusing on making sure our Aussie fans get a chance to try our limited, one-off releases that we are so well known for’.

‘We are delighted to partner with Chur Brewing for their Australian relaunch,’ said Kaddy co-founder Rich Coombes. ‘Their range is iconic in New Zealand, and we know they will be very well-received by Australians who appreciate high-quality, flavoursome beers’.

Chur Brewing is currently recruiting a sales team here in Australia to aid the rollout, and fans can expect to see the brewery’s beers on the shelves of select retailers and in kegs at bars and pubs shortly.
