Fuji Whisky, a name fast becoming synonymous with Japanese craftsmanship is proudly introducing the Fuji Single Blended Japanese Whisky to Australia.
This exquisite expression represents a blend of malt and grain whiskies, all meticulously crafted at the renowned Fuji Gotemba distillery, pioneering the art of Single Blended Whisky.
Recently recognised with a Gold Medal at both the World Whisky Awards and International Spirits Challenge, Fuji Single Blended has solidified its status on a global scale as a masterful creation.
Jota Tanaka, Master Distiller and Blender at Fuji Whisky says, “Fuji Single Blended is a true testament to the unique terroir of the Fuji Distillery. Our whisky embodies the essences of Japanese craftsmanship and the rich heritage of our location, from the pristine snow-melt water to our time- honoured techniques.
“It’s an elegant fusion of Scotch-style malt and three different grain types, aged for up to 16 years, resulting in a delightfully sweet, fruity and rich flavour profile with a silky, enduring finish.”
The Fuji Gotemba Distillery, is one of few worldwide that can produce both malt and grain whiskies, having incorporated the world’s leading Scotch, American and Canadian Whisky production technologies. Fuji launched into Australia in 2022 with its Single Grain Japanese Whiskey which has been met with tremendous enthusiasm from whisky aficionados across the nation, setting the stage for its latest unveiling.
In addition to the Fuji Single Blended release, Fuji will launch extremely limited bottles of the Single Malt Japanese Whisky 50th Anniversary Edition to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the renowned Fuji Gotemba Distillery which was established in 1973.

A testament to crafting unique yet exceptional whiskies, Fuji Single Blended Whisky combines corn, rye and malted barley distilled in various stills, to result in a distinctive blend reminiscent of Scotch, American and Canadian style whiskies. This is a whisky that embodies Fuji’s heritage, all being created under one roof, from mashing to bottling.
Fuji Single Blended Whisky will be available from October in Australia for $130RRP. Available at Dan Murphy’s, Cellarbrations, IGA and Bottle-O stores.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Fuji Gotemba Distillery, Master Blender Jota Tanaka has crafted a special-edition Single Malt Japanese whisky. This exceptional blend draws from malt distilled in 1973, complemented by carefully selected malts from the 80, 90s, 2000s, and 2010s, resulting in a complex multi-layered whisky with a rich yet delicate flavour profile.
